2011 – Jill Cochran

The 2011 citizen of the year award was presented by Mayor Carr during Riverdays on August 20th to Jill Cochran.  Long time village resident, Jill Cochran has continually dedicated her time and energies to the village and specifically our youth.  As a member of Renaissance New Richmond, New Richmond Parks and Recreation Commission, and currently working with the Boys and Girls Club, Jill always works to improve the village and the opportunities for our youth.

Whether it is coordinating the 5K, hiding eggs during the Easter Egg Hunt and assisting with the village’s downtown revitalization efforts, Jill never says no when asked to help. ON behalf of the entire village government, our citizens and especially our youth; Thanks Jill!!!

Jill will have a bench dedicated to her in Rose Vesper Park along with her name being added with past recipients to the citizen of year board at New Richmond Village Hall.
