The Art and Science of Cardboard Boats
WEBSITE

The Museum is located in New Richmond, Ohio, home of the International Cardboard Boat Regatta and managed by Team Lemon, the nations most prolific team builder and racers of exotic and unusual boats. Photos of boats displayed at the museum and in the races are also highlighted on the Cardboard Boat Race section of this web site.

The Museum offers classes in building cardboard boats, student tours, rental options for reunions, off-site meetings, graduation and birthday parties. Nominal donations are suggested to support the museum. A custom designed “paddle wheel boat” was raffled off prior to the race in 2009 to support the non-profit museum and the winner raced and won a Trophy in the NEW “Small Stacks” Class...

We have 26 Trophies and Race Categories including speed, the coveted Titanic Award, a crowd favorite, for the most dramatic sinking and the cardboard man "Iron Man" endurance award, the small stacks paddlewheel award and the snappy dresser for the best team costume. The race is a family and all age friendly event and everyone leaves with a big smile.
