The Village of New Richmond uses the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) to administer the Village’s Income Tax

Do I need to pay taxes?

The New Richmond Income Tax Ordinance requires Individual taxpayers having estimated annual earned income greater than $10,000 or estimated taxes due in excess of $100 to pay estimated taxes an on quarterly billing schedule. The Village imposes a one percent earnings tax on persons who live or work in the Village. A one half percent tax credit is given to residents who pay taxes to other municipalities. Tax forms are mailed annually. All residents must file a return even if no tax is owed.
