General Information
Utility payments are due the 15 th day of every month. Payments not received by the 15 th of every month shall have a 10% penalty assessed (minimum of $10.00) to any unpaid utility account balance After hour payments can be made in the drop box located in front of the building.
All rental properties will be charged a $100.00 deposit for the start of their utility account.
The current property owner shall be held responsible for any unpaid utility charges incurred at the service address.
Water Service - The utility bills are billed per cubic foot based upon water consumption. The current water rate is $0.0251 per cubic foot inside the Village corporation limits. A minimum water bill charge is currently $7.52 for 0 – 300 cubic feet of usage.
Sewer Service - The sewer rates are calculated based upon the water consumption. The current sewer rate is $0.0464 per cubic foot. A minimum sewer bill charge is currently $13.96 for 0 – 300 cubic feet of water usage.
Garbage Service – The current garbage rate is $13.70. This is a monthly charge that is reflected on the utility bill. Garbage collection is every Wednesday. Items should be placed in receptacles with lids out at the curb on Tuesday night.
