Income Tax  
The Village of New Richmond uses the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) to administer the Village’s Income Tax.
  • The  New Richmond Income Tax Ordinance requires individual taxpayers having estimated annual earned income greater than $10,000 or estimated taxes due in excess of $100 to pay estimated taxes an on quarterly billing schedule.
  • The Village imposes a 1% (one percent) earnings tax on persons who live or work in the Village. A 1/2% (one-half percent) tax credit is given to residents who pay taxes to other municipalities.
  • Tax forms are mailed annually. All residents must file a return even if no tax is owed.
