VILLAGE OF NEW RICHMOND - ANNUAL NOTICE OF WEED CONTROL & LITTER
This is notice that the owner(s) or occupant, or any other person, firm or corporation having the care of any lot or land within the Municipality shall cut down and remove there from all offensive and noxious weeds, vines and grass of a height of eight inches or more and any and all weeds, vines and grass constituting a threat to the public health, safety, comfort or welfare. It is a violation of Ordinance 2019-09 if weeds, vines and/or grass eight inches or more in height exist on any lot on any of the following dates: April 15, May 1, May 15, June 1, June 15, July 1, July 15, August 1, August 15, September 1, September 15, October 1 or October 15.

PUBLIC NOTICE -  AUCTION
In accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 721.15, the Village of  New Richmond passed Resolution No. 2021-01 expressing its intent to sell personal property which is not needed for public use, or which is obsolete or unfit for the use for which it was acquired, by internet auction. Pursuant to the term of that Resolution, internet auctions will be conducted according to the rules and regulations of LightGov, LLC.

The auctions shall be conducted on a continuous basis through accessing the Village of New Richmond web site located at www.newrichmond.org and double clicking on the Auction icon. 

The surplus items shall be posted for no less than fifteen (15) calendar days, including Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays.  All property is offered for sale “As Is, Where Is”. The Village of New Richmond makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. The Buyer is not entitled to any payment for loss of profit or any other money damages – special, direct, indirect or consequential, and the Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to withdraw from sale of any of the items listed.  Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding. That in connection with each such contemplated internet auction sale, the term of payment shall be cash, payment in full on or before the date of delivery to the successful bidder, further, the successful bidder shall be solely responsible for all acts and expenses associated with the delivery of such item(s) so purchased.  Please read the Online Sales, Terms and Conditions prior to bidding.

Economic Development Committee (Ad hoc) (currently on hold in 2022) 2nd Tuesday of each month @ 5:30pm: Mary Allen (Committee Chairperson), Larry Prues and a third Council person TBA


Planning Commission: 1st Thursday of the month @ 6pm
Landmark Commission: (scheduled as needed)
Shade Tree Commission: 1st Tuesday of each month @ 10am (typically March through October)
