Keeping Families Safe presentation
Through the collaborative efforts of the Ohio Attorney General’s Consumer Protection section and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, a new presentation, Keeping Families Safe, covers topics including product safety recalls, securing furniture, pool, fire and carbon monoxide safety protocols. 

This presentation is being provided virtually to civic and community groups by educators from our Consumer Protection section. If your group would benefit from this important safety information, please contact Danielle Murphy, Consumer Education,  at Danielle.murphy@ohioattorneygeneral.gov to schedule a virtual presentation.


​Need transportation? 

Clermont Transportation Connection (CTC) provides transportation service to any person in Clermont County. All vehicles are wheelchair accessible. 
  • ​CTC Route 2X provides non-stop express service from the Rivertown Market Park & Ride (1041 Old St Rt 52) to 4 bus stops in downtown. Learn more at their website here or view brochure. ​
  • DIAL-A-RIDE is a door-to-door public transit service which operates very similar to a taxi cab. To schedule a ride, call 513-732-7433 & press 2 or schedule online here.
  • Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NET) is available to persons on Medicaid and provides transportation services to and from medical appointments.

Clermont Senior Services, Inc. provides transportation for Clermont County seniors age 60 and over who need assistance to attend medical and other appointments. All vehicles accommodate standard size wheelchairs. To learn more, visit their website or call 513-536-4115.

WEED & LITTER NOTICE
This is notice that the owner(s) or occupant, or any other person, firm or corporation having the care of any lot or land within the Municipality shall cut down and remove there from all offensive and noxious weeds, vines and grass of a height of eight inches or more and any and all weeds, vines and grass constituting a threat to the public health, safety, comfort or welfare. It is a violation of Ordinance 2019-09 if weeds, vines and/or grass eight inches or more in height exist on any lot on any of the following dates: April 15, May 1, May 15, June 1, June 15, July 1, July 15, August 1, August 15, September 1, September 15, October 1 or October 15.

 ​​The Village of New Richmond contracts with Rumpke for curbside trash collection & recycling.  

​Pick-up is every Wednesday.  (Holiday schedule here. )

​Please be considerate and place your trash cans out no earlier than 12 Noon the day before pick-up and retrieve no later than 7:00 PM day of pick-up.

Rumpke's service includes collection of six, 32-gallon cans or two, 96-gallon Rumpke cans per pick-up. Cans should not exceed 50 pounds. Please do not place trash at the curb in boxes.

  • Residents can order a recycling bin by calling the Utility Dept. at 553-4146 ext 17

​​* Rumpke will not pick up your recyclables if any of the following are in the bin:
​• Plastic bags • Styrofoam • Medical sharps or syringes • Window glass or drinking glasses • Coat hangers or scrap metal • Plastics that are not bottles or jugs 
                                 BRUSH PICK-UP
The Village supplies brush pick-up for properties associated with a monthly trash collection bill. (* with limitations - see below)  Brush collection will occur on the last full week of the months April - October, Monday - Friday pick-up only.

If you wish to have brush collected please stack it at the curb in a neat pile NO MORE THAN  3 DAYS PRIOR TO THE LAST FULL WEEK OF THE MONTH.  Wet conditions at the brush dump site may delay pick-up.  Call the Utilities office at 553-4146 ext. 17 if you have any questions concerning brush pick-up.

​*Brush should be no longer than 10 feet in length and 3 inches in diameter. Anything larger will be left for you to dispose of in another fashion at your own expense. When having trees trimmed please be considerate and have the brush hauled away.
